The Monte Carmelo was a good value hotel within walking distance of the majority of attractions in Seville. Breakfast was good with eggs and bacon available. Staff were helpful and courteous. The room was clean and functional rather than luxurious but at the price more than acceptable. The only downside with the hotel was finding it. The street address has changed and the sat nav didn’t recognise it – we had to resort to taking a chance that there weren’t 2 hotel Monte Carmelos in Seville – getting there was also made difficult by road works in the area that are likely to be there until April 2010. We used the hotel car park which was an extra but if you take the cost as a whole it still remained a good value hotel.
